The Pueblo Canario is located inside the Doramas Park in the Ciudad Jardin borough in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on the island of Gran Canaria.

The Pueblo Canario is an architectonic complex of houses that represent the typical canary architecture, designed by Miguel Martín Fernándes de la Torre and his brother Néstor.

This surprising location is de idyllic place to take a walk while admiring the beautiful houses with their precious wooden balconies, all of them opened for a common square where you might see a fusion of moorish and canary architectonic styles as observable in the Santa Catalina Hermitage from the XVI century, or the Néstor Museum dedicated to life and work of the modern artist Néstor de la Torre.

If you’re near the Ciudad Jardín de Las Palmas and you have some free time don’t miss an entertaining walk through the Pueblo Canario while enjoying its beautiful views. the architectonic complex, the emblematic buildings and visiting the interesting Néstor Museum. Moreover, inside the same complex, you might try some exquisite canary gastronomy, taste some good wine inside the wine cellar or buy some souvenirs from the typical hand-made craftwork all available on the central square.

It’s important to know that all thursdays at 5pm and on sundays at 11.30am you might see some authentic canary folk.
