The Orchilla Lighthouse is located in the municipality of El Pinar in El Hierro in the Canary Islands.
The Orchilla Lighthouse is still active. For many centuries, till 1492, it was known as the “end of the known world”. This place happens to meet the same point where the “Meridiano Cero” passed during the Tolomeo period.

The Orchilla Lighthouse was also used for many years to guide the ships heading to America.
