The Timple House Museum is housed in the Spínola Palace, a palace built between 1730 and 1780 by José Feo Peraza, that has many owners and functions as being the Official Residence for the Canary Islands Government in Lanzarote.
In its interior you might find a room specially dedicated to the ancestors of the timple, with many craftworks from the island. On another room you’ll see many musical instruments exhibited from all over the world that look and sound similar to the timple. Moreover, this room is also used as concert room while a third room is a last generation exhibitions accommodated with modern technologies.
This museum also has a room dedicated to History and traditions of the Teguise municipality, which will allow you to know a little bit more about this town’s folk.
