La Arena Beach

Playa de la Arena Beach is localized on the south of Santiago del Teide, on the Northwest of the island of Tenerife.

This is a precious fine dark sandy beach nearby the Puerto Santiago.

This beach is considered one of the best beaches on the north of Tenerife as it has many services at your disposal such as: pedal boats rental, deck chairs, umbrellas, showers, dressing rooms. Besides all this, it even has a garden area and a promenade with many restaurants and bars where you might have a drink with precious sea views.

A good example of this beach’s quality is the fact it has been awarded Blue Flag for more than 15 years. One of the best beaches in Spain.

How to get here:

To get to La Arena it’s advisable to rent a car and head to Santiago del Teide through the roads TF-47 or TF-82. Once inside the municipality head to Puerto Santiago through the TF-47, the beach in less than a kilometer on the south of the port and it also has many signs if you’re coming from the TF-6237.

If you wish, you might also catch the bus, on the lines 325 and 473 that have a nearby bus stop.
