El Socorro Beach is located in the municipality of Los Realejos in the north of Tenerife.

It’s a precious black sandy beach with crystal clear waters considered one of the best beaches in Los Realejos.

If you enjoy sports you ought to know that due to its natural conditions this is a perfect beach to the practice of maritime sports, as it is usual to see groups of surfers practicing this sport in Playa del Socorro Beach. Here many championships are held.

The beach might be slightly dangerous for bathing as it usually receives strong currents but you shouldn’t be worried as this has a good rescue service.

How to get here:

To get to El Socorro Beach it’s advisable to rent a car a take the north road from where you see the beach. If you’re coming from Icod de Los Vinos, the road will appear before the San Pedro chapel, but if you’re coming from Santa Cruz it’s right after. This is a very accessible road possible to be done by car or by foot.
