This beach is famous for being the widest beach in Tenerife. It has precious fine golden sand, quiet, crystal clear and low depth waters. All these make the El Médano the perfect family beach.

The touristic centre of El Médano has many services that you might use such as dressing rooms, showers, bars, and, if you’re hungry, you have many delicious restaurants that you can go to. Moreover, if you enjoy water sports this beach is usually a good spot for Wind Surf due to its strong winds.

How to get here:

It’s advisable to rent a car in Tenerife and follow the south highway TF-1, and exit to El Médano.

If you wish to go by pubic transports there’s a bus line, 483 from Playa de Las Américas to El Médano..
