The Granadilla de Abona History Museum is located on a typical canary house which dates back to 1800 in one of the stately streets of the historic centre of Granadilla de Abona, on the south of Tenerife.
The Granadilla de Abona History Museum, inaugurated on 2002, hosts many different collections during a period of time. On its different rooms you might discover the steps this municipality has been doing on its development, the different jobs, its most crucial historic moments, from the los guanches time till today. Everything is told chronologically and supported with interesting photographs, pictures and tools.
The museum has 11 rooms, among which we point out the one dedicated to the aboriginal funeral world, where you might observe a reproduction of different types of burials near their trousseau, as well as different information about the culture, agriculture, costumes and
