The Corona Forestal Natural Park is a wide terrain with high mountain vegetation and high canary pine trees which surrounds the El Teide National park, envolving the municipalities of La Orotava, Costa Adeje, Los Realejos, Vilaflor, El Tanque, Santiago del Teide, Canderlaria, Icod de los Vinos, La Guancha, San Juan de Rambla, Güímar, Arico, Arafo, Guía de Isora, Granadilla, Fasnia and Garachico on the island of Tenerife.
If you enjoy nature you should know that the Corona Forestal Natural Park is the widest protected space in whole the archipelago. Here you might find many protected species of flora and fauna as the blue finch or the Canary Pine tree.
In this beautiful natural park you’ll find many animal species, especially birds and invertebrates due to the amazing volcanic tubes that shelter, for example, many bat species.
On the other side, you should also know that it’s possible to do walking, bicycle or horse riding tours through some of the areas on this natural park. We recommend you taking one of these options if you’re looking for a relaxing day on this amazing park.
