The Victoria Gardens are located in Constituición Square on the historic centre of La Orotava, in Tenerife.
The Victoria Gardens are the only ones in the Canary Islands. They were designed by the french artist Adolph Coquet on the XIX century giving it an eclectic endearing style.
This location surprise all of those that visit it due to the great order and care taken into every detail. This garden forms a staggered mound with intermittent fountains and coloured flowers.

These gardens were firstly built has a mausoleum for Diego de Pinte, Marquis of the Quinta Roja, as the bishop denied christian sepulture. After the sepulture was approved, they’ve decided to bury his remains on the Victoria Gardens.
