The municipality of Santa Úrsula is located on the north region of Tenerife.

Santa Úrsula is the municipality that helped growing natural and family tourism in Valle de La Orotava, as even though it’s isolated from the main touristic urban complexes, it allows you to discover a different Tenerife with good touristic facilities as a complement.

This is the reason why the Guanches (first populations on this island) called this region “Chimaque” which means “Life fountain”. This municipality has many protected natural sites, among which the Costa Acentejo Natural Protected Landscape, the Las Palomas Special Natural Reserve and the Las Lagunetas Natural Landscape, that contain native flora and fauna, some in danger of extinction.
