The Las Nieves Natural Park is located between the municipalities of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Puntallana and San Andrés y Sauces on the northwest of La Palma island.

On this natural park you’ll find one of the best laurel forests in the whole archipelago as well as one of the most important underground water reserves.

In the Las Nieves Natural Park, you might see many vegetable species in danger of extinction or protected species as the rematón and the cabezón.

Regarding its fauna, there are many native species, some also protected, as the laurel dove, the sparrow hawk and eagles.

This is the perfect place to rest and have some direct contact with the surrounding nature. In this park you might take a deep breath of quietness. Moreover, this is well-equipped for visitors as it has toilets, coffee-shops and picnic areas.

How to get here:

To go to the Las Nieves Natural Park it’s advisable to take the LP1 in direction to Sauces.
