Roque Niquiomo is a beautiful rock catalogued as a protected space for botanic interest reserve. It’s located in the summits of Villa de Mazo municipality, in the Canary Islands.
This place, used as a pastoral zona, has great beauty and it’s the ideal spot for an adventurous day if you have the time and patience.
The base of the rock has 1180 meters high. On the south and east slopes you might see many caves occupied by the auaritas. You might also see its wonderful vegetation of abundant foliage as the moss and the ferns and other rare botanic species such as the strawberry and the monteverde daisy.
The peak of the Roque Niquimo reaches the 1100 meters high and it has fall of more than 50 meters. Over its lowest slope you might access the interior with a lytic vault of nearly 10 meters high and 20 meters diameter.
