San Jerónimo’s Hermitage is located in the municipality of Tacoronte, in the island of Tenerife in Canary Islands.
This hermitage was built in 1654 as shown in its inscription on the tombstone.
The influence of whitewashed masonry is very relevant in this monument as well as the inner geometrical decorations.
In it’s interior, the San Jerónimo’s Hermitage shelters artistic pieces like the pictures of San Jerónimo, San José, San Rafaél and the paintings of San Judas Tadeo, San Simón, The Decapitation of Saint John Baptist and The Angels.
