The Science and Cosmos Museum is located in the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, on the Northeast region of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
The Science and Cosmos Museum has an insolit location as it blends the traditional museum with a theme park. Here, you’ll be able to meet multiple interesting information as, for example, the laws of nature, the way stars function, while having a blast of fun.
This museum opened in 1993 and, since then, it has always been evolving to keep its standards as the idyllic scientific information centre for every audience or age.
It’s important to mention that the interior of this museum is accessible for disabled people as it has many ramps, lifts and adapted toilets although there might be a slight difficulty to access the outer square of the building.
To get here it’s recommendable to rent a car in Tenerife and head to the entrance of Cruz de Piedra from the north highway TF-1.
It’s also possible to get here through urban transportation, you only need to catch the line 1 on the transvia that has a stop just in front of the museum or even the bus line 014 from Santa Cruz - La Laguna.
