The Parque de los Lavaderos Park is located in El Sauzal on the northeast region of Tenerife.

El Sauzal has many green areas but the Los Lavaderos Park is, without any doubt, most important of all existing in this district.

The park was named due to the fact that this place was used as an ancient laundry. This was possible as here was a natural water fountain capable of releasing between 25 and 50 m3 of water every hour.

In 1987 the population constructed, surrounding the fountain, a 8.000 square meters recreational area. Since then, the park has become a popular site for long walks, tourist areas, relaxing spots (covered and uncovered), enjoy the beautiful gardens ornamented with all kinds of native flowers, natural waterfalls, go to restaurants, viewpoints and other.
