The Tamadaba Natural Park is located in the Northwest of the island of Gran Canaria enclosing the municipalities of Artenara, Aldea de San Nicolás and Agaete.
It has an impressive network of ravines, escarpments and wide rocks that figurate an erosion contrast of wide beauty.
On the higher areas of the park you’ll find one of the most important pine forests in Gran Canaria as well as cardonales on the lower regions.
On the crag of Guayedra you might find many protected species, some of them only inhabit this place.
There are numerous native birds and protected species that use this park as nesting site.
