The Tufia Archaeological Site is located on the small fishing town of Tufia in the municipality of Telde, Gran Canaria.
The is one of the most archaeological sites on this island. It’s formed by a complex of coves and rough stone houses, some in rudimentary roads.
This site is believed to be an protohistoric urbanism, in which you might identify the transformation in the inhabitants mentality.
Its construction appeared with intermediate spaces forming a kind of primitive streets leveled slightly below the houses. The access to the houses was done through small stone stairs.
