Gran Canaria Islands Walk Path, Firgas. © Rose Despriet
These charming walk paths are located in the historic centre of Firgas, in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands.
Both walk paths have an amazing 30 meters stone waterfall topped with a traditional monument that represents the importance of the water resources for this population.
On one of the sides of the street we might observa 21 heraldic shields that represent all the municipalities of Gran Canaria and the island’s own shield.
The Canary Islands Walk Path has the 7 main islands of the archipelago carved on the ground next to their heraldic shields and a representative landscape of each one of them.
These walk paths became an important touristic attraction and nowadays are considered a must-see for those who come to Firgas.
